15 Follow us on Social Media! CONCONULLY RESERVOIR » CONCONULLY Conconully Reservoir offers stiff competition to the “up- per” lake as the trout fishing is excellent on this larger body of water. There are so many great facilities right on the water that it is one of the top destinations for anglers in the county. On Conconully Reservoir you will find two private resorts on the lake with cabins, campsites, and boat launches. There is also a State Park right on the wa- ter here, too. Rainbow are also abundant on the “lower” lake, as the reservoir is often referred to, and the Kokanee fishing is also good. Rainbow average 10 to 12 inches, with some carryovers to 15 inches, and Kokanee average 12 inches. Anglers can also catch Brook Trout, and Large- mouth and Smallmouth Bass on the lake. It is right next to downtown Conconully where there are restaurants, a grocery store, and other attractions. There is an annual trout derby every opening weekend of the Trout season.
