WE LOVE CANADA We can’t wait for this ski season, with so many exciting changes & updates to look forward to, including: • We are welcoming our new Outreach and Access Manager, Erika Halm, to our team. You will see a lot of Erika on our trails capturing images and stories to inspire future trail connections. • We are adding another new warming hut to complement all the fun trailside amenities that we love to create for kids and adults. • We have a new 250XP Brush Bandit Chipper to reduce the amount of snow-intercepting vegetation along the trail. This is a game-changer for increasing the quality of our trails and doing our part in helping keep our community as defensible as possible from fires. • We have a new “groomer special” snowmobile and a tracked ATV that will help us groom early- and late-season snow and fat bike trails. • We have a free ski shuttle on Saturdays. We are continuing this service fromDecember 29 to February 23 for skiers interested in skiing point-to-point along the Community Trail. North America’s largest cross-country ski area Nestled in a high pocket of the North Cascades, the Methow Valley is the Pacific Northwest’s destination for recreation. The valley is one of the sunniest places in the U.S., averaging over 210 days of sunshine each year. Winter in the MethowValley rewards skiers with plenty of skiable snow, typically spanning four, and sometimes five, months. Plenty of wide-open spaces encourage you to lengthen your limbs and stretch your soul. With over 120 miles of perfectly groomed trails, you can find options for every ability and desire: gentle valley-bottom trails with kid-friendly loops, long-distance town-to-town and lodge-to-lodge ski options, or heart-pumping climbs that will challenge the most-seasoned mountain athlete. The three charming towns of Twisp, Winthrop, and Mazama — each with a unique character— offer every amenity for the visiting skier, including great lodging options, soothing hot tubs and superb bakeries, and numerous brew pubs and coffee roasters. Interact with the locals on the trails or at one of the many nightly community events. Welcome to the Methow Valley
